Eight stops from first prompt to a connected business. Each one teaches, shows, explains, tests — then hands you the machine.

What is a prompt? 4 min · done

A prompt is a direction, not a wish. The machine does exactly what your words allow and guesses everything they leave out. This course is about closing the gap between what you said and what you meant.

Write clear prompts 5 min · done

Clear is not long. A clear prompt names the thing, what it does, and how you will know it worked — three facts, not thirty adjectives. You write directions a stranger could act on without asking you anything.

Refine & retry 4 min · done

The first answer is a draft, not a verdict. You reject an output, say why in one sentence, and direct the fix. The reason is the skill.

Idea to app 6 min · done

An idea becomes an app the moment you can say what someone does with it. One user, one action, one visible result. Everything else waits.

Break it into steps 6 min · done

Big asks fail quietly. You cut a build into steps small enough that each one can be checked on its own — and put them in the order they stand on each other.

Style it 5 min · done

Style is a direction too. You change how it looks by saying exactly what changes — a colour, a size, a place — and nothing else.

Sprites & controls 8 min · done

A character is a set of numbers: speed, jump, size. You direct each one and watch the feel change. "Better" moves nothing; a number moves everything.

Scoring & rules 8 min · done

Rules are what make a toy a game. You decide what scores, how much, and how often things spawn — then say it precisely enough that the machine cannot misread it.

practice task — imagination + iteration

Add one idea of yours the machine would not suggest — then say it in one precise direction. Run it, play it to the end once, and only then change one more thing.

your build at this stop

a "will I reach my goal" simulator with a slider. Someone — someone saving up — should be able to use it. You are practising imagination and iteration.

Good, or just shiny? 6 min

Working is not the same as right. You check the output against what you asked for, not against how it feels.

Keep, cut, change 6 min

Every output gets a verdict: keep it, cut it, or change one named thing. The verdict needs a reason, and the reason is the skill.

Catch the hallucination 6 min

A confident wrong answer reads exactly like a right one. You learn the tells — invented specifics, unverifiable sources, fluent nonsense — and the reflex to check before you trust.

Hand it to a human 7 min

A real person uses your build while you stay silent. Where they stall is the verdict no machine can give you.

What is an agent? 6 min

An agent takes steps on its own. You decide which steps it may take alone — and which it must bring back to you first.

What AI cannot do 6 min

A working map of the machine's real limits — no live truth, no your-context, no stakes, no taste — so you stop wasting hours fighting the wrong tool.

The right model for the job 5 min

Fast-and-cheap or deep-and-careful. Matching the model to the task is a directing decision, not a tech one.

Brief it like a teammate 6 min

A brief names what done looks like and what it must ask you before doing. The rest it can ask.

Check its work 6 min

Confidence is not evidence. You check where it flagged doubt first, then sample where it did not.

Build your own tool 8 min

One real job of yours, delegated end to end. You direct, it works, you verify — and keep the record.

Agent Directorthe certificate at this stop · quiz: 5 questions

Opens when delegation and skepticism have evidence — delegation 1 of 4, skepticism 3 of 6. The working-director stop: real sessions, not single prompts.

Feed it what it needs 7 min

Long sessions: the machine forgets, you keep the thread. What to hand it — docs, data, constraints — and when.

Use it right 7 min

Disclosure, privacy, bias, consent. When to say AI helped, what never to paste, whose voice you are borrowing.

Keep your own edge 6 min

The cognitive-debt defence, owned. Produce first, audit your own reliance, notice when you stopped thinking.

Take it anywhere 6 min

The same ten skills on an essay, a spreadsheet, a plan, a legal letter. The skill transfers; the subject never mattered.

Plan the whole build 8 min

The parts, the order, and the piece you are least sure of — that one goes first. The plan is written before the first prompt.

Know what you know 6 min

You mark each part of the plan sure or guessed, then test the guesses first. Doubt goes first, decoration last.

Ship it to people 8 min

Shipped means used. A real person uses the build, and a change made from their feedback is what closes the stop.

The delivery stack 6 min

What Supabase, n8n, Vercel and MCP each actually do, in plain words.

Wire a real database 8 min

Supabase: your app remembers. What someone saves today is still there tomorrow.

Automate the boring lap 8 min

n8n: workflows that run while you sleep.

Ship on your own domain 7 min

Vercel: from playground to production, at an address that is yours.

Charge for it 6 min

Real clients, real money, the marketplace. The record of how you direct is what they are buying.

Systems FounderFounder unlocks the tools — Supabase, n8n, Vercel, MCP. The certificate still needs a connected system a real person uses.
