Parent & safety

Makery has no DMs and no ads. A parent approves what goes public. This is how we keep them in the loop.

Parent or guardian email

We send approval requests here — and for makers under 13, this is where consent is confirmed. No password needed from you.

Safety switches

Publishing needs a parent's yesLocked under 13 Every build stays in your private arcade until your parent approves it. Nothing goes to the Showcase without their yes.

Show handles only, never real names Your cohort sees @kai. Real names are never shown to other makers.

Journey visibility

Private Public

Private keeps your Journey just for you and your parent. Public shows it to your cohort only — never the open web.

Notifications

Gentle by design. We never ping you at night, and never to pull you back in.

Daily Spark is ready One quiet nudge when your fresh modules unlock.

A parent approved a build So you know the moment your game can go on the counter.

Someone remixed your build When a maker in your cohort builds on your work.

Quiet hours — no night-time pings Nothing between 8pm and 8am. This one stays on.
